A set of four, A5 botanical and nature prints, featuring birds, flowers and wildflowers from the Cornish and English countryside, with English folklore inspired quotes and phrases.

Each of my illustrations is carefully created, using my watercolour and digital illustrations.

Each illustration is professionally printed onto 280 gsm Acquerello paper.

The first print features a Thrush bird, with an extract from the old folk song ‘Pleasant and Glorious’.

The second print features a composition of a small wren bird and the saying underneath reads:
“Hurt a Robin or a Wran, never prosper boy nor man”. This is an old Cornish saying, with Wran being the old name for a Wren. Both Wrens and Robins were seen as sacred.

The third print is a composition of dandelion clocks and common blue butterflies with another old English rhyme.

The last print features a composition of clover, with a four leaved clover with an extract from a poem by S. Lover. If you luck very closely, you may even see a Cornish fairy!
